Hey there, okay so I’m still (slowly) working away on issue #17 of Lloyd and the Bear and I realise I’ve let my look back at early issues slip so I’m back with more reflections and going to discuss two panels from issue #2. First of all the start of an ongoing joke with characters hugging too tightly(!)

I had no intention at the time of using this joke again but I’ve ended up using it A LOT. I dunno, I just liked it and I think the second time it got used I was reflecting on this scene and from there I kept coming back to it!

Heck, in issue #16 it’s kinda become a thing!

The following panel also brought up something for me.

HOW DANG LAZY I WAS AT DRAWING FINGERS BACK THEN!!!

I mean, seriously. I don’t think it was until the last arc did I really crack how to draw decent fingers (which when you consider how long this book has been around for that’s pretty poor)

But yeah, really bad/lazy at doing fingers at that point (and also shading it would seem….)

Oh well! More soon!

Bear hugs!
